About Me

I’m Nick Fitzgerald, a Geography and Spatial Sciences postgraduate student at the University of Tasmania in Hobart. My research interests include plant ecology, ecosystem restoration, vegetation dynamics and climate change impacts. My main study site is a 128km2 speck of land in the Southern Ocean – Macquarie Island. This is what it looks like on Macca right now. Though I’m more likely less far south, in Hobart.
